Respiratory Products

For respiratory service needs, a caring team of NOME professionals will work to recommend a treatment plan with the utmost concern for patient comfort and convenience. A respiratory therapist will first perform minor testing to determine what therapies and products will be most beneficial for specific medical concerns. A personal treatment plan will then be created. Our staff will also provide training for patients and/or caregivers to feel confident with the equipment used for treatment.

Respiratory services may include:

  • Pulse oximetry
  • MDI evaluation
  • CPAP/BiLevel
  • Portable nebulizers
  • Oxygen services
  • Transfilling systems
  • Invasive & non-invasive ventilation
  • Conserving devices

CPAP/BiLevel Equipment: Resmed, Respironics and Fisher Paykel

Oxygen Delivery Systems

  • Homefill system: Allows you the convenience to fill portable cylinders in your home
  • Oxygen conserving devices: Allows your oxygen cylinder to last longer
  • Concentrators: Standard for nighttime oxygen use
  • Portable concentrators: Battery-powered options

Aerosol Therapy: Used for medication administration and tracheotomy care

Cough Assist Devices: Used for strengthening a cough when weak or with a neuromuscular disorder

Home Mechanical Ventilation

  • Invasive ventilation through a tracheostomy tube
  • Noninvasive ventilation through a face mask

Respiratory Therapist: Provides in-home pulmonary assessments

CPAP/BiLevel Specialists

  • Our respiratory therapists set up all equipment and follow up with the patient until compliance is met.
  • Multiple masks are available for custom fitting.
  • Remote monitoring is available, which assists physicians and patients in maximizing therapy.
  • Automatic reminders are distributed for supplies and filter changes.

All home respiratory services are monitored by a respiratory care practitioner, who is on call 24 hours per day, seven days per week in case of emergency.

In addition to respiratory services, NOME offers a variety of home care products and services to meet your needs.
